The QuickClean WBO Single-shaft Mixer features a mixing drum with one or more inlet spouts, a venting spout, and an outlet with a discharge valve. It includes a full-material mixing shaft, a drum-closing end plate at the drive end with a flanged end bearing assembly, and integrated air or gas-purged shaft seals. The drive unit is equipped with a power transmission system.
At the opposite end, the machine has a front cover plate with an integrated inspection door. Ploughshare or inclined blade-type shovels are arranged on the mixer shaft within a horizontal, cylindrical chamber, creating turbulence that ensures all product particles remain engaged in the mixing process. This prevents dead spots or slow-movement zones, guaranteeing precise mixing. Where required, separately driven high-speed choppers can be installed to achieve the desired mixing effect.

Function

The QuickClean WBO Horizontal Single-shaft Industrial Batch Mixer operates on the principle of mechanical fluidisation. The specific shape, position, and rotation speed of the mixing tools create a centrifugal vortex motion, projecting materials in a three-dimensional pattern and ensuring thorough blending. This allows ingredients with varying particle sizes and bulk densities to be mixed with high precision in the shortest possible time. QuickClean WBO Batch Mixers are used for mixing dry powders, granules, or short fibres, as well as for moistening, agglomerating, or granulating these materials.
