The VFD Paddle Wheel Valve consists of two die-cast aluminium semi-bodies, a stainless-steel feeder paddle wheel and a nitrile rubber gasket.
For the food industry, a version with stainless-steel paddle wheel and FDA-approved integral gasket is available.
The VFD Paddle Wheel Valve can be used for any kind of powder or granular material along the process flow.
Function
The VFD Paddle Wheel Valve is designed for applications where a constant flow of material is required. After feeding, the material is discharged through the outlet for further processing.
The VFD Paddle Wheel Valve is particularly effective for feeding materials with a maximum particle size of 1.5 mm, especially those that are hygroscopic or have poor flow characteristics. It can be installed in loading or discharging lines and is suitable for filling or emptying drums, bins, or FIBC dischargers.
