Description
WBHT Bomb-bay Discharge Batch Mixers feature a cylindrical mixing drum with an inlet, a pneumatically or hydraulically operated full-length outlet flap, a venting spout, and a full material mixing shaft. The drum is enclosed by two end plates, each fitted with flanged end bearing assemblies and integrated air- or gas-purged shaft seals. A drive unit with power transmission ensures efficient operation.
Ploughshare or inclined blade-type shovel tools, arranged on the horizontal mixer shaft, create turbulence that continuously engages all product particles, preventing dead spots or slow-movement zones for precise mixing. For enhanced performance, separately driven high-speed choppers can be added to achieve the desired mixing effect.

WBHT-type Bomb-bay Discharge Mixers with a 60° opening ensure high-quality batch mixing with optimised efficiency. The full-length outlet allows for near-complete, rapid product discharge, minimising residue and maximising process speed.
